As new facsimile limited edition of Volume 1 only, 1990. Printed by offset lithography and bound in half grey leather. Lower corners bumped. With 35 color plates selected from Volumes 1-5 of the original edition. The Birds of Australia was published between 1910 and 1927 in twelve volumes by Witherby & Co. This volume faithfully reproduces 35 selected plates by J.G. Keulemans, Roland Green, and H. Gronvold and text from the 600 plates in the original set held by the family of Captain S.A. White. Quarto. Two additional volumes of the facsimile edition were published.
