Our Opinion: This book has a format that is currently fashionable, similar to Sibley's style, with a portion of a single page including a bird image, with additional plumages or in-flight postures illustrated when applicable, along with the text and multicolored distribution map. The text includes English and scientific names, length, identification notes separating adult, juvenile, and breeding, voice, range and status in Borneo and South-east Asia. The book also includes references and an index of common and scientific names, a glossary, and useful addresses. Thanks to its brevity, this book is very compact and lightweight.
