Bird Observers Club of Australia, 2001-2007. Bird Observers Club of Australia (BOCA) presents a revised, CD edition of A Field Guide to Australian Birdsong compiled and edited by Rex Buckingham and Len Jackson and published on audiotape 1983-1999. The present edition does not replace the definitive tape collection with its comprehensive booklets. Rather, the aim is to provide users with a quick reference format of often shortened calls and fewer juvenile recordings. Most of the CDs have been updated with new recordings and new species. This edition includes 713 tracks on 10 CDs, with supplementary corrections, and booklets. Some call repetition has been deleted. This new CD edition follows the taxonomic order of L Christidis & W.E. Boles (RAOU 1994), using their revised recommended English and Latin names. For regional clarity, subspecies names are introduced from PF Higgins et al HANZAB volumes.

CD3: Red-necked Stint to Cockatiel. Revised CD edition, 2007. Five species have been added whilst another thirty-eight calls are new.
CD4: Rainbow Lorikeet to Grass Owl. Revised CD edition, 2002. No additional species, but forty-one calls have been either replaced or added.
CD5: Tawny Frogmouth to Kalkadoon Grasswren. Revised CD edition, 2007. No additional species, but sixty-nine calls have been either replaced or added.
CD6: Spotted Pardalote to Banded Whiteface. Revised CD edition, 2007. Ninety nine calls have either been replaced or added.
CD7: Red Wattlebird to Gibberbird. Revised CD edition, 2007. One hundred seventy-nine calls have either been replaced or added.
CD8: Jacky Winter to Grey Shrike-thrush. Revised CD edition, 2007. One hundred fifty-three calls have either been replaced or added.
CD9: Yellow-breasted Boatbill to Fawn-breasted Bowerbird. Revised CD edition, 2007. Two hundred sixteen calls have either been replaced or added.
CD10: Singing Bushlark to Common Myna, with supplementary corrections. Revised CD edition, 2007. One hundred thirty-three calls have either been replaced or added. Includes a quick index.
