National Audubon Society's International Alliances Program is delighted to share this newly published guide,
101 Birds of Belize, with you as an example of one of our strategies to engage local citizens in the conservation
movement by raising awareness about the beauty around them. IAP, in partnership with Belize Audubon Society (BAS),
supported the publication of 101 Birds of Belize, which is geared for both the general public and tourists alike
to introduce them to some of Belize's most common and unique birds. By increasing knowledge, we hope to empower and incentivize
local citizens to take conservation actions that protect birds and biodiversity in general.
Through the Audubon International Alliances Program, the proceeds from this book will support the
Belize Audubon Society and their work with local communities. Please also consider participating in the IAP match program:
for each copy you buy, for a donation of an additional $15 a copy will be donated to local communities in Belize.
Purchase Price of the book: $19.95
